Additional Information

Unlock the full potential of shoulder rehabilitation by looking beyond rotator cuff strength and understanding the intricate relationship between the glenohumeral joint, scapular positioning, and thoracic/ribcage posture. In this comprehensive course, we delve into the critical role of ribcage and thoracic alignment, and its impact on scapular function. Through demonstrations and practice, participants will learn to assess and treat both ribcage and shoulder mechanics, gaining insights into the dynamic interplay during various upper extremity movements. Apply ribcage and scapular principles to shoulder exercises to create functional comprehensive shoulder rehabilitation programs for both fit and frail populations for optimal shoulder recovery.

course should maybe be named improving respiratory function, and how the shoulder can help. shoulder rehab seemed secondary.

the video quality was not great at times, mostly during presentation portion. i had the slides open as well so that helped. i wish i felt more like i understood how to start and then progress to improve shoulder rom etc. making that part more cohesive would be beneficial

i wish this course was more shoulder focused. yes, i know it all ties in together but it focuses more on breathing and ribcage as opposed to the actual shoulder movements that would have benefited me for the practice i work in.
