Hip injuries are a common source of lost playing time for athletes. These injuries can have wide-ranging effects from the loss of playing time to the early onset of hip osteoarthritis. This course will specifically discuss hip injuries encountered in the rehabilitation of athletes. The course will cover the current evidence to help the clinician form a diagnostic impression when they are evaluating these individuals. Participants will examine a wide range of tools to treat these individuals including manual therapy, core exercise, and evidence-based therapeutic exercises for strengthening the muscles of the hip.
