Introductory Spanish for the Rehabilitation Professional

The 2016 census reported that roughly 53 million people in the United States speak Spanish, and of those, roughly 16.2 million individuals report limited English proficiency.These patients, those with limited-English proficiency, are among the highest risk for medical errors due to an inability to communicate past medical history and current problems to providers. This course will provide easy to use vocabulary and terminology allowing therapists to complete a basictherapy evaluation and basic therapy treatments using Spanish.
