Assessment and Evidence-Based Approaches to Prevention of Suicide

This course aims to address suicide and self-harm (non- suicidal self-injury) prevention among various age groups, genders, and identities. Assessment strategies will be reviewed in order to identify the appropriate intervention, which may, but not always, include hospitalization. Treatment considerations and legal and ethical responsibilities for client safety will also be covered.
