Summit Professional Education provides continuing education (CE) courses to PTs, OTs, SLPs, and Educators in the state of Delaware. Summit works with numerous state boards and accrediting authorities nationwide to offer continuing education to PTs, OTs, and SLPs. In many states this includes the local chapters or sections of the board of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), and the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA). DE PT/PTA's
PTs and PTAs need 30 credits every 2 years. The license cycle ends January 1st every odd year, with CE due by January 31st every odd year. 2 hours of ethics are required.
CE Recap:
30 credits every 2 years, 100% allowed online.
DE OTs & OTAs
OTs and OTAs in DE need 24 credits every 2 years. The license cycle ends July 31st even years.
CE Recap:
24 credits for OTs and OTAs every 2 years, 100% allowed online.
DE SLPs
SLPs in DE need 30 credits every 2 years. The license cycle ends on July 31st every odd year.
CE Recap:
30 credits every 2 years, 100% allowed online
DE Educators
Educators in DE need 90 credits every 5 years. The license cycle ends on the day your license issue date.
CE Recap:
150 credits every 5 years, 100% allowed online
