Summit works with numerous state boards and accrediting authorities nationwide to offer continuing education to PTs, OTs, and SLPs. In many states this includes the local chapters or sections of the board of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), and the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA). NE PT/PTA's
PTs need 20 credits and PTAs need 10 credits every 2 years. The license cycle ends on November 1st on odd years.
CE Recap:
20 credits for PTs and 10 credits for PTAs, 10 hours allowed online.
NE OTs & OTAs
OTs need 20 credits and OTAs need 15 credits every 2 years. The license cycle ends on August 1st on even years.
CE Recap:
20 credits for OTs and 15 credits for OTAs, 100% allowed online
NE SLPs
SLPs in NE need 20 credits every two years. The license cycle ends on December 1st on even years.
CE Recap:
20 Credits every 2 years, 100% allowed online.
NE Educators
Educators in NE do no require CEUs.
