Summit Professional Education provides continuing education (CE) courses to PTs, OTs, SLPs, and Educators in the state of Wisconsin. Summit works with numerous state boards and accrediting authorities nationwide to offer continuing education to PTs, OTs, and SLPs. In many states this includes the local chapters or sections of the board of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), and the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA). WI PT/PTA's

PTs need 30 credits and PTAs need 20 credits every 2 years. The license cycle ends on February 28th on odd years. 4 hours of state requirement required

CE Recap:

30 credits for PTs and 20 credits for PTAs, 100% allowed online

WI OTs & OTAs

OTs and OTAs in WI need 24 credits every 2 years. The license cycle ends on May 31st in odd years.

CE Recap:

24 credits every 2 years, 100% allowed online

WI SLPs

SLPs in WI need 20 credits every 2 years. The license cycle ends on January 31st in odd years. 2 hours of ethics required

CE Recap:

20 credits every 2 years, 100% allowed online

WI Educators

Licensees are required to complete a Professional Development Plan (PDP) but there are no CEU requirements. If a course applies towards their plan they may attend and incorporate it in the plan, but there is not a credit hour requirement to be fulfilled.
