

Amber Kosloske, MS, LPC is the owner of a therapy private practice that specializes in suicide and self-harming prevention, Convenient Colorado Counseling. In this role she provides mental health counseling services, resource navigation, advocacy, and training. She is active in the suicide community by serving as a Behavioral Health Lead for Victory Service Dogs (an organization that trains service dogs for Veterans), a preferred mental health provider for Pikes Peak Suicide Prevention, a member of the American Association of Suicidology, and a volunteer for The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. She created the only comprehensive suicide resource directory for the entire state of Colorado. Some of the modalities she is trained in and utilizes in suicide treatment are: Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), and person-centered therapies. She provides suicide trainings for healthcare professionals, the community, and in-patient intensive care hospitals.
