Dr. Carol Leibovich-Mankes, DrOT, OTR/L, PLCC, is a seasoned occupational therapist with over 25 years of experience specializing in pediatric therapy, parent/teacher coaching, and learning support. She holds both a doctorate and master's degree in occupational therapy from Nova Southeastern University and a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Florida. In addition, she is certified as a professional life and parent coach. Dr. Carol has expertise in working with children facing handwriting difficulties, developmental delays, learning disabilities, and behavioral challenges. She is the author of 'On the Road to Handwriting Success: A Resource Guide for Therapists, Teachers, and Parents' and is passionate about fostering collaboration among teachers, parents, and therapists to support children's overall growth and learning. Recently Dr. Carol published a children's book 'My Brain, My Body and Me: The Inside Story' a book that empowers kids to recognize their body's signals, manage big feelings, and build lifelong self-awareness and self-control. Dr. Carol was also an adjunct faculty member for the master's program at Nova Southeastern University's College of Allied Health Occupational Therapy Department. Through her direct intervention, workshops, and courses, she empowers educators and families, promoting resilience, skill development, and holistic well-being.
