Eric Bellm

PT, DPT, OCS

Dr. Eric Bellm, PT, DPT, OCS is an assistant professor in the Program of Physical Therapy at Saint Louis University. He received his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Saint Louis University and completed his orthopedic residency at Ohio State University. Eric is a board-certified specialist in orthopedic physical therapy from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. In the DPT program, he teaches in orthopedic and sports evaluation and treatment. He serves as a mentor and educator within the SLU-SSM Health Physical Therapy Residencies. He maintains his clinical practice and specializes in the evaluation and treatment of overhead athletes, collegiate athletes, and youth athletes. His primary research interest is in upper extremity strength and return to sport testing. Additionally, he explores group-based approaches to sport rehabilitation. He has lectured locally and nationally on a variety of subjects related to youth athletes and overhead athletes.
