Kristen Pfeil, OTD, OTR/L completed her clinical doctorate in Occupational Therapy at Creighton University in Omaha, NE. She has practiced occupational in many different settings including adult and pediatric inpatient, pediatric outpatient clinics, early intervention, school settings and neonatal intensive care units. These diverse experiences have given her the opportunity to work with a variety of pediatric populations. Her clinic, Connect Pediatric Therapy, specializes in the treatment of children with retained primitive reflexes and sensory processing difficulties that have resulted in motor, feeding and regulation delays. She focuses on empowering families to be an active part of intervention so that gains made during treatment can lead to functional gain within home and community.

Kristen has done program development and implementation of occupational therapy treatment programs within NICU follow up clinic, outpatient hospital setting and outpatient pediatric settings, prior to starting her own pediatric practice in 2019. She has done extensive training in sensory integration, vision development and primitive reflex integration. She offers one on one mentorship for therapists new to the field of pediatric occupational therapy. She continues to be involved in research in collaboration with the STAR Institute, a leading center for research on Sensory Processing Disorder. She has a passion for teaching and enjoys lecturing with colleagues to further the body of knowledge in pediatrics, within occupational therapy and across professions. She is active at both the state and national levels of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and Nebraska Occupational Therapy Association (NOTA).
