Kristin L. Sanders, PT, MPT, PCS is a physical therapist practicing in pediatrics since 2001 and has integrated elastic therapeutic taping to the benefit of her patients since 2004. Mrs. Sanders achieved her Board certification as a Pediatric Certified Specialist (PCS) through the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) in 2007. She has extensive experience in multiple settings including outpatient, early intervention, school, and NICU Developmental Clinic settings. Mrs. Sanders currently works for School-based Therapy and Resources (STARs) based out of Culpeper, Virginia.

She has instructed courses on kinesiology taping since 2015 for Summit Professional Education and presented for the International Pediatric Rehabilitation Collaborative, at APTA's Annual Conference, NC and VA PTA statewide conferences. Mrs. Sanders is a proud member of the APTA and the APTA's Section on Pediatrics and has been very active in the leadership of the NCPTA and recently the VPTA Pediatric Special Interest Group. She also enjoys her roles as the Mid-Atlantic Regional Clinical Advisor and a Virginia Clinical Director for FUNfitness through Special Olympics. She earned her master's degree in physical therapy from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
