
Liza Meiksins PT, DPT is a physical therapist with extensive experience working with adults and children with neurologic injuries. She currently works in an outpatient rehab program primarily with patients with strokes, spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, and vestibular impairments. In addition to this role, Liza serves as the founder and director of a nonprofit organization that provides pro bono physical therapy to people that are uninsured and underinsured in the Chicago area. She also has previous clinical experience working in acute care and inpatient rehab, and currently is an adjunct faculty instructor at the university level. She is a board-certified specialist in neurologic physical therapy, a certified brain injury specialist, a certified lymphedema therapist, and has completed advanced training in vestibular rehabilitation. Liza also serves on the Practice Committee for the Academy of Neurologic Physical Therapy.
