PhD, OT/L, MSCS
Tracy Flemming Tracy, PhD, OT/L, MSCS , serves as the Medical Science Liaison with Neurology in the Southeast for Sanofi. She is also a licensed occupational therapist, multiple sclerosis clinical specialist, and a PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She has over 28 years of experience in clinical practice; however, for the past ten years, she has focused on research on telerehabilitation and its promotion among persons with physical disabilities. This line of research includes a focus on physical activity rates, improvement in quality of life, increasing access to healthcare and rehabilitation, and evidence-based interventions. Involvement of persons with disabilities in health promotion programs requires intricate knowledge of how to integrate stakeholder panel input within a medical model or healthcare system to make the experience for participants inclusive of their needs. Tracy has multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals outlining her research and has been presenting at professional meetings and continuing education courses since 2011.
