Dr. Vint Schoenfeldt PT, DPT, OCS, MTC, CSCS is a licensed Physical Therapist, Board Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist, Certified Manual Therapist, Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist, and is Certified in Blood Flow Restriction Training, Dry Needling, IASTM, and Diagnostic Musculoskeletal Ultrasound. Dr. Schoenfeldt is the Founder and Co-owner of Rocky Mountain Spine & Sport Physical Therapy that has multiple outpatient orthopaedic clinics in the greater Denver, Colorado area. He has performed extensive research on blood flow restriction (BFR) and has authored a literature review on the evidence-based approach to treatment of patellofemoral pain patients with BFR. Dr. Schoenfeldt uses BFR daily in his clinical practice in the rehabilitation of both conservative and postoperative patients and teaches nationally on this incredible treatment approach. He feels that BFR is the most exciting treatment approach that he has ever encountered in his 24+ years of clinical practice. Dr. Schoenfeldt served as Team Physical Therapist for USA Cycling at the Mountain Bike World Championships from 2001-2003 and has authored the Bicycle Fitting System Manual. He also serves as Instructor for the Summit Professional Education course "Effective Manual Therapy and Self-Care Strategies." Dr. Schoenfeldt has received the "Best of the Best" Physical Therapist Award multiple times by the Colorado Community Newspaper Association. Additionally, he is a member of the APTA, the APTA Orthopaedic Section, the National Strength & Conditioning Association, and the AAOMPT.
