Virginia requires 20 hours of continuing education every 2 years for licensed OT/OTAs. Please note special topics may not be required each renewal period. Check with the Virginia Board of Occupational Therapist to determine the requirement cadence.
Virginia OT/OTA licenses renew on a biennial (2-year) cycle. Licenses renew Licensee's birthday in even numbered years. Summit recommends completing your CE at least 30 days before your deadline.
