When it was released in 2023, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)'s "Learn the Signs. Act Early developmental milestone checklists omitted crawling as a developmental milestone and has since been debated among pediatric PTs in the United States." Creeping on all fours has long been a goal used by physical and occupational therapists to increase a child's locomotion and progress their gross motor skills in route to standing and walking. This course will address the shift in screening recommendations and provide a rationale for clinical decision-making. In addition, information will be provided on the impacts of notcrawling, components needed for crawling, and hands-on ideas for teaching this skill.
Target Audience: Physical Therapists, Physical Therapist Assistants, Occupational Therapists, Occupational Therapy Assistants

i would prefer if the written content was more detailed\/outlined the verbal information more closely. it would be helpful to keep this detailed written information for future reference. i am more of a visual learner, not having this content to refer to while listening to the podcast was difficult for me.

the topic was great, much needed! i would love a virtual with videos course at least 2 hours on crawling and creeping: research, benefits, how to support.

i would have preferred a more visual approach to teaching this course and further references to early intervention justification.

i really wish there was an option to have access to the transcript of the podcast, to have the ability to easily refer to all the information presented and be able to have an easy was to have quick access to the information in the future. at the very least, having captions available for the podcast would help, to ensure we are able to fully process what is being said. without the podcast transcript, there is no way for me to easily access any particular information presented, for use in clinic, because you would have to actually play the podcast and hope you were able to find the info at the right point in time. no transcript is what made this course go from being full stars for me, to between 1-2 stars, so it played a huge role in my overall satisfaction related to how well this course will contribute and improve my skills in patient care, unfortunately.
