This increases the effectiveness, consistency, and legitimacy of using certified therapy dogs. This course will teach you the many benefits of using a trained animal during therapy sessions. i thought the course was good. the instructor clearly had a lot of experience with pediatric populations and her dog is an excellent partner. it would have been helpful to have a manual that included some of the slides the instructor had such as the requirements for a therapy dog. the imbedded videos were small. other courses i have taken with summit had technology that allowed you to click on the video to enlarge it to take up the full screen the screen-- you could enlarge this course to the whole screen but the videos were still relatively small. i would be interested in seeing a video of a therapy session using the dog that included the therapist interacting with the client and her dog. also i think this is an introductory course not an intermediate level.

it is a little repetitive, i think the video can be done a little bit shorter, but it makes sense that it is that length considering that it is for a certificate. overall it was nice.
