Additional Information

Documentation is the number one complaint of therapists. there is too much, and too little time. There are Medicaid standards that must be followed to be reimbursed for treatment. With caseloads skyrocketing to over 100 students, documentation can be overwhelming. Becoming more effective and efficient in your documentation while meeting the required standards is difficult. This course will use evidence-based practice and effective teaching methods to give learners hands-on strategies to incorporate into their practice setting. Participants will be able to recognize andexplain the Medicaid and clinical standards for documentation. Participants will also be able to document correctly and precisely with the charts, shortcuts, and hints provided. While this course is aimed at school-based therapists, much of the information provided also applies tooutpatient providers.
