Additional Information

With an increasing need for collaborative approaches to support children facing handwriting and learning challenges, this webinar addresses how educators, parents, and therapists can work together to create a unified plan of care. According to research, nearly 20% of children struggle with handwriting, impacting their academic success and self- esteem. Research also shows that the same foundational skills required for handwriting play a critical role in overall academic success and daily functioning. A lack of communication and understanding among professionals and parents often hinders progress. This workshop will provide participants with strategies for fostering teamwork, improving foundational skills for handwriting and learning, and creating a consistent support system at home and school. Attendees will leave with a toolkit of actionable steps, ensuring they can implement collaborative, child-centered plans that prioritize well-being and success.

The content of this program is germane to children, students and clients ages 3 - 12 years old.
