Caregivers are now spending more time at home with their children. There has been an outcry from parents and caregivers, wanting a program to follow at home to keep their child's behavior and sensory systems regulated. An effectivesensory diet increases patient satisfaction, improves therapy outcomes and carryover of learned skills. A properly implemented sensory diet improves the efficiency of treatment, goal planning, and ultimately outcomes.

This course will teach the importance and efficacy of sensory diets, demonstrate different methods to create them,and utilize different styles of sensory diets for a range ofsensory needs while providing troubleshooting strategies forpotential pitfalls associated with the implementation of thesensory diet.

the instructor was very knowledgeable and provided good information. i would have liked more examples of activities to incorporate into a sensory diet.

the audio was cutting in and out during the presentation. the presenter was basically reading her slides and also plugging her own book multiple times.

the closed captioning was terrible...not wat speaker was saying much of the time. i tried watching with the sound off at times so as not to disturb a family member in the same room but it wasn't making any sense.
