Additional Information

Children with neurodevelopmental disorders often present with tonal issues. The treatment of tone issues can sometimes appear to be more of an art than a science. Clinicians need to be aware of the state of the evidence to effectively partner therapeutic adjuncts with pharmacological and neurosurgical treatments. This course will teach participants to accurately classify tone, know the evidence-related treatment, and point the clinician in the right directionin order to help their clients maximize function and quality of life outcomes.

good explanation of research articles.

lot of information to be covered in 2 hrs. 3 hr courses may reduce the speed with which instructors plow through such helpful information.

i feel like this course wasn't as relevant to functional activities with tone. i think i just misunderstood the course from the beginning.

i like that he showed how to access the major articles he referenced so that we can also read over the studies ourselves and use it for future reference

closed captioning was not good

i believe that the level of education provided did not match the level of the clinicians who opted to take it. as a clinician with intermediate experience who was paying more than typical for a ceu, i was expecting to gain more of an understanding of treatment strategies to support tone and not just a basic understanding. this course was better suited for a beginner, entry level clinician.

liked the video analysing the child, but too many videos on categorizing tone rather than treating\/managing tone.
