Participants will be able to return to their clinic, school, or early intervention program with strategies to support the functional goals of their clients, students, and families who are living with and through traumatic events.

Highlights

  • Provide evidence-based strategies to support the functional goals of clients and their families who have experienced trauma
  • Integrate learning to your PT/OT/SLP practice through case examples

Target Audience: Physical Therapists, Physical Therapist Assistants, Occupational Therapists, Occupational Therapy Assistants, Speech-Language Pathologists

speaker shared lots of knowledge that can be use while treating patients impacted by traumatic experiences.

not really a bad comment but the screen shot of the instructor speaking was at quite a distance and it would have been better if we could see her face more up close when she was speaking. she seemed to understand the material quite well and it would have been a more intimate experience but still very good and effective.

i was very glad that the manual was clean and straightforward with ms. becker sticking to the content, but also adding stories of her experiences to provide perspective. the videos were appropriate and informative. i especially appreciated the question and answer session with the discussion of programs that can be used. i don't have anything bad to say about this presentation because i was tired when i viewed it and it was presented in just the way i needed at the time.

while the topic is obviously serious, at times i felt the presenter could have been a little more engaging. maybe it's just me, but visually with the dull background and gray shirt, it just at times felt difficult to really be attentive.
