Evidence-Based Treatment Strategies for Peripheral Nerve Impairments

The peripheral nervous system is a complex body system that is integrated into every movement and sensation a patient feels. When evaluating the peripheral nervous systemclinicians have to choose between nerve mobility testing, palpations, medical tests, along with a patient's functionalmovements to help properly diagnosis insults to the system. On the other side, interventions can include "flossing", "tensioning", and many other components all in an effort to return a patient to prior function. This course will discuss the evidence-based evaluation and rehabilitation to treating peripheral nerve injuries to help clinicians best use their time.Attendees will review the evidence behind the clinical nervetests, medical nerve conduction studies, and intervention principles used to best treat patients.
