Upper Extremity Manual Therapy and Taping

The upper extremity is a complex joint in the body which lends it to many different types of injuries. When treating the upper extremity clinicians must choose between mobility, stability, and flexibility interventions. Even more important than choosing the right intervention for the shoulder, is then choosing a proper dose to make it effective.

This course will discuss evidence-based stages to manual therapies and taping for the upper extremity from theacute phase to returning to activities. Attendees will review the evidence behind the soft tissue mobilization, jointmobilization, taping, and more to best treat their patients. At the end of the course, attendees will have an effective, evidence-based, and efficient approach to treating the upperextremity.
