This course will provide bloodborne pathogen training to persons working in settings where there is a reasonable likelihood for exposure to blood or other potentially infectious material. The major themes of the course emerge from the context of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration(OSHA) Bloodborne Pathogen Standard, 29 Code of FederalRegulations (CFR) 1910.1030. After taking the course the learner will be able to identify bloodborne pathogens of significance, prevent exposure to bloodborne pathogens and respond to bloodborne pathogen exposure events.
